Spring has arrived, Sqvadscribers!

We’ve got a lot going on in April so let’s get right to it!

First off, we’d like to give a shoutout to our community member of the month, Alex! Alex has been on a roll, consistently attending multiple classes a week and coming out to our Open Sessions and Monday Sprint Clubs and has been showing HUGE progress! His energy is infectious and if you’ve been around him in class you know he’s super encouraging to everyone around.

Keep up the great work Alex!

All of our community members have been getting really great work done lately and we want each of you to know that WE SEE YOU!

Classes

We’ve recently expanded our class offerings to 7 days a week, so if you’re looking to try out a new class, we likely have one in a city near you! Be sure to keep up with our schedule as we make continuous updates to locations and times so that you can choose a class that best fits your schedule.

Master’s Parkour Class (55+)

With our class expansion in mind, we’re happy to share the introduction of our MASTER’S Class! This Monday evening session is for anyone 55 years or older looking for a good way to get active.

We all know how important it is to stay moving, especially into our wiser years, and this class is a great way to get some general fitness in while also decreasing fall risk, learning how to handle falls should they happen, and have a fun time learning some new exercises!

Tell the Masters in your life and Get. Them. Moving!

On May 3rd, Sqvadron Parkour will be participating in Piedmont’s annual Play Like A Girl+ event!

This event is FREE and aims for girls ages 2-18 to have the opportunity to try as many as 20+ different sports, and we’re honored to be able to represent parkour for the first time in the event’s history!

Classes will be canceled in light of the event that day, so plan to get some self-practice in!

Speaking of events, we’ve got a workshop coming up from our very own Coach Darryl! If you’ve ever been interested in learning how to reverse vault, or incorporate reverse vaults/dive reverse vaults into your lines, Darryl is definitely the guy to learn from and that’s what this workshop is all about.

We’ll be hosting it at the famous Embarcadero Plaza where there’s a variety of wall heights and distances to work with.

Keep an eye out for the workshop date announcement and come out to learn from one of the best in the world!

If you’re not subscribed to our YouTube channels, you’re missing out! Darryl’s been hard at work on class recaps and tutorials, as well as advertisements, and enough parkour content to get you motivated to take the moves you’re learning during class out on your own.

This months Sunday Service will be held at the Dublin Sports Grounds on April 12th!

Monday Sprint Clubs and a Saturday post-class open session on April 4th are also listed here.

Remember, first class is ALWAYS free! Open sessions and Sunday Service are also open to any and all community members of all levels and are FREE to attend.
